Volunteers' Work-Experience

Medical Students, Nurses and Social Workers from different parts of the world do visit Leonard Hospital on a regular basis to render their voluntary service. Thanks and God bless!
Dental Students (Scotland)
Organised by Catherine and Alan Low, School House Abroad, Ballater, Scotland—every year since 2013 a batch of students from dental universities all over the United Kingdom visit Leonard Hospital to participate in our "School Health Dental Programme." • Under the supervision of Dr Balakumar BDS from Sri Lanka along with Dr Sr Alice BDS, Leonard Hospital, these UK dental students render their services and gain experience in a foreign country. Leonard Hospital organises accommodations and other amenities for the students and links them with programs like those of Reaching the Unreached (RTU), Ganguvarpatti,  St Thomas Primary School, Holy Cross Hr Sec School, Batlagundu, St Teresa Middle School, Kodaikanal and with the primary school boarders at Holy Cross Convent, Karisalpatti. • The children who are helped in these programs receive primary dental care all through the month by the UK volunteers. Extended dental procedures for the children are followed up by the Leonard Hospital Dental Department. "Thanks, Catherine and Alan!"

"Thanks, Ron!"
